Collaborative thinking that supports inclusive working

Kathleen Mortier, Emeritus Professor at San Francisco State University and a consultant for EASNIE, describes how inclusive education thrives when schools, families and communities work together as equal partners. She outlines key collaboration strategies, such as collaborative support planning and using brokers to bridge gaps between schools and families.

This presentation is from a webinar on ‘Collaborative working and thinking in and across schools’. The webinar is part of the ‘Fostering Inclusive Quality Education in Finland and Ireland’ project, funded by the European Union through the Technical Support Instrument and carried out by EASNIE in co-operation with the European Commission’s Reform and Investment Task Force (SG REFORM).
